PhD studentships and PDRA positions in the Quantum Devices Group

The focus of our group is on the experimental study of solid-state quantum devices. We make use of the excellent fabrication facilities of the London Centre for Nanotechnology (LCN), such as its class 6 cleanroom, to develop nanoscale devices for quantum information processing applications. We explore these devices in our lab in the LCN which features several mK dilution refrigerators and state-of-the-art electronics.

We welcome strong applications from prospective PhD students to join our group. Funding is available for UK, EU and Overseas students. If you are interested in applying, please email your CV and a statement of research interests to Dr. Mark Buitelaar.

Likewise, if you have relevant experience with low-temperature measurement techniques, high-frequency signal processing or quantum information and are interested in joining the group as a postdoctoral research associate or fellow, please email your CV and a statement of research interests to Dr. Mark Buitelaar.
