PhD Student

Raj graduated with an MSci degree in Natural Sciences from University College London. Having done his final year MSci project in our group on optimizing radio-frequency readout techiques, he then joined the Quantum Devices Group for his PhD. Raj's project involves developing As spin qubits in silicon for quantum information processing applications. In particular Raj is looking at ways to control and readout the electron spin states at sub-microsecond timescales using microwave control techniques and radio-frequency reflectometry readout. He is furthermore working to demonstrate the use of the dopant's nuclear spin states for long-term storage of quantum information, with the ultimate aim of creating an entangled network of spin qubits.
