Patient and Public Involvement

The project is supported by a consultation group of people with intellectual disability, including those with lived experience of using psychotropic medication. The group give advice on all aspects of the project, including recruitment, developing accessible (easy read) information, and disseminating the findings, and are important in keeping the research focused on the needs of people with intellectual disability.
