Farhana Iqbal wins Human Rights Written Advocacy Competition

13 January 2021

Congratulations to Farhana Iqbal, Human Rights MA alumna and now a colleague who won the QMBS x Matrix Chambers ‘Human Rights Written Advocacy Competition’

certificate

The Written Advocacy Competition is your opportunity to test your written persuasive skills and draft documents. It is the ultimate test of your use of persuasive language and writing capabilities run by the Queen Mary Bar Society alongside the Matrix Chambers.

The competition focused on Human Rights and was marked by barristers from Matrix Chambers. The prize consists of an exclusive insight day at the Chambers, a meeting with the Head of Chambers to discuss pupillage, and a tour of Gray's Inn.

Farhana Iqbal studied Human Rights here at the Department of Political Science and is currently working for our Connected Learning team.
