What does ‘decolonising’ and ‘diversifying’ Political Science mean? How far has the discipline progressed in decolonising the knowledge, perspectives and issues explored? Who produces this knowledge? What approaches fit with decolonial strategies?
Joined by recent UCL PPE graduate, Varun Vassanth, contributor of the student-led departmental project, The Inclusive Curriculum. We’ll be exploring these broader questions in context of the progress made within our own department in decolonising and diversifying our curriculums and reading lists, as well as broader conversations about what decolonising Political Science means in practice.
