Professor Mark Kalderon
My most recent research has been focussed on color and the philosophy of perception. I am increasingly interested in the history of philosophy of perception and have recently written Form without Matter: Empedocles and Aristotle on Color Perception. I plan to continue to work on the metaphysics of perception and its history.
For the BA in Philosophy I teach Introduction to Moral Philosophy and a level three course Experience. In addition I teach 20th Century Philosophy, Practical Criticism, and a research seminar.
