Dr. Saloni de Souza

Dr. Saloni de Souza studied for her D.Phil at the University of Oxford under the supervision of Prof. Lindsay Judson, Prof. Ursula Coope and Mrs. Lesley Brown. She works primarily on the pre-Socratics, Plato and Aristotle, especially their metaphysics.  She is currently exploring Plato's and Aristotle's ideas about numerical identity, Zeno's paradox of place and the ethics around death in Plato.

Saloni also works in other areas of philosophy, notably contemporary metaphysics, philosophy of medicine and comparative philosophy and is particularly interested in connecting them with ancient philosophy.
