Course overview
This
study day builds on the core techniques covered in ‘Working with Selective
Mutism Part 1: Effective Approaches to Assessment and Management of Children
and Adolescents’. The focus is on children and adolescents who need more than
the core programme to address their selective pattern of communication e.g.
those with a complex diagnosis, family issues or simply not making expected
progress.
Target audience
All professionals
and support workers from educational, health and mental health backgrounds who
have completed Part 1 training. Case-workers and therapists working with adults
are also welcome.
