I'm Calum Medlock, holding a BSc in Mathematics from UCL, with a demonstrated passion for communication, research coordination, and ensuring accessibility. I initially joined DCAL in January 2023 and have since evolved within the team, now fulfilling the role of Research & Communications Coordinator.

As a part of my role, I manage crucial research resources at DCAL, such as the BSL Corpus, BSL SignBank, DCAL Portal, and D-List. I also look after the impact and communications aspects, ensuring smooth operations and effective dissemination of our work. I have maintained and managed DCAL's online presence, delivering engaging content and informative updates. My expertise in business communication has been a valuable asset in these efforts.

In addition to my work at DCAL, I run a web agency, providing web design and SEO solutions for businesses seeking to improve their online visibility. I am dedicated to aiding others in their success and take pleasure in networking with individuals from various backgrounds and industries.
