Previously based at the School of Population Health and Environmental Sciences at King’s College London, Elise undertook a PhD to develop a novel and acceptable medication adherence intervention for stroke survivors. The PhD drew on psychological theory and health services research and applied qualitative research methods, patient and public involvement and use of systematic intervention development frameworks.
