Research Methods

All students will complete a research methods module (PALSGM01), though the specific teaching may vary depending on your statistics experience. Almost all students will follow the teaching of PALSG102: Research Methods this module is challenging but starts from a basic level in term 1, building to more advanced techniques and continuing in term 2. Students with more experience in statistics may choose to follow the teaching of PSYCGR01: Statistics, this is a shorter module but it begins at a higher level with significant assumed knowledge.  You will have an opportunity at the beginning of term to discuss your experience with the Programme Director, who can advise on what level will be appropriate for you.
