Konstantin V. Petrides is Founding Director of the London Psychometric Laboratory and currently Professor of Psychology and Psychometrics at University College London (UCL).  He is the first-ever Professor of Psychometrics at UCL, the birthplace of psychometrics.

He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration with summa cum laude honours from PACE University (N.Y C., U.S.A.), a Diploma in Psychology from the University of Nottingham (U.K.), an MSc in Psychological Research Methods (specialized in psychometrics and behavioral statistics) from the University of Exeter (U.K.), and a PhD (specialized in individual differences, psychometrics and behavioral statistics) from University College London (U.K.).

Konstantin is the developer of trait emotional intelligence theory and of the family of Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaires (TEIQue), which are used in commercial and research settings globally.  He lectures around the world on his theory of trait emotional intelligence, personality, psychometrics, and philosophy of mind.
