Biography
Trained as a doctor in Cambridge (1969-72) and Birmingham (1972-75). After housejobs (1975-76) returned to Cambridge to do a PhD in the genetics and neuropsychology of handedness and cerebral dominance (1976-79). Since 1979 has worked in various medical schools and colleges of the University of London, firstly St. Mary's Hospital Medical School and Bedford College, then UCL and St. Mary's, then UCL and Imperial College School of Medicine, and since 1997 entirely at UCL, albeit in two departments (Psychology/CEHP/PALS and CHIME/ACME/DoME/RDME).
