Professional Services Awards

Two Psychology and Language Sciences teams have been shortlisted for a Professional Services Award this year. The PALS Teaching and Learning Team have been shortlisted for the Service Excellence to Staff award and the Discover UCL Summer School for D/deaf and Hard of Hearing Students Team have been shortlisted for the Brand Ambassador Award.

“I was delighted to see that, as in previous years, we have an excellent range of nominations from all parts of UCL, presenting the panel with a formidable task in selecting the winners. I would like to congratulate all of the nominees on the excellent work reflected in the submissions, and in addition all those colleagues who put time and effort into the preparation of the nominations.” Rex Knight, Vice-Provost (Operations).

An impressive total of 97 nominations were received across all five categories and Winners will be announced at the Professional Services Conference on Wednesday 15th February.

The Professional Services Awards were first launched at the Professional Services Conference in 2014. Teams of professional services staff based in divisions, departments, faculties or Vice-Provosts’ offices were eligible and the awards recognised the attitude and commitment that they bring to their work, and how they exemplify the professional services values.
