Andrew Thornton

Originally studying Maths and Computer science at Cambridge, Andrew entered Medicine through the Graduate Entry Medicine Course at Swansea and Cardiff Universities. He is a currently out of programme from nuclear medicine training having completed core medical training in the East of England and core radiology training at UCLH. 

An accomplished programmer with a numerate background his clinical and research interests lie in the quantitative image analysis including texture analysis, kinetic modelling and applications of machine learning.

He is currently working on the lung angiogenesis project.
