IT training schedule now available

ISD

Information Services Division offers free IT training to UCL staff and students covering many desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Endnote and more.

This term we have revived and revamped our ‘Using Excel to manage lists’ course which is a must for anyone wanting to work effectively with records in an excel database.  We are also launching a new SPSS course, ‘Practical SPSS’, which allows you to cover much of the theory through self-study prior to the course and to use the course itself to apply your knowledge to a problem-solving challenge.

Need some guidance in choosing the right course?

We have lunchtime sessions to introduce both staff and students to the different applications available for bibliographic management, long document writing and statistical computing.  Find these lunchtime sessions on the staff IT training pages or encourage your students to visit the student training pages to book a place.

Don’t have time to come on a course?

We have a wide range of training resources suited to different learning styles including video tutorials and interactive online learning

Please visit our Resources pages for full details.

Need individual help?

As well as classroom training we also offer one-to-one support to meet your specific training needs through our twice–weekly IT Training Drop In Service.  For full details, visit the IT Training Dropin Service pages.
