One of Britain's oldest fossil discoveries was found in Boxgrove Quarry by Mark Roberts (UCL Institute of Archaeology), which Dr Matthew Pope (UCL Institute of Archaeology) describes as an "exceptionally preserved 26km-wide ancient landscape of stone".
