NHS will probe unprecedented rise in children and adults being told they have ADHD amid fears mental disorder is being overdiagnosed

Professor Joanna Moncrieff (UCL Psychiatry) said: “I worry that a Taskforce will encourage more people to come forward expecting to get an ADHD diagnosis, when the NHS is already struggling to meet demand.”
