Immunotherapy for ‘difficult to treat’ lung cancer patients improves long-term survival

Global study, led by Professor Siow Ming Lee (UCL Cancer Institute), showed that cancer immunotherapy atezolizumab significantly improved overall survival of advanced stage non-small cell lung cancer patients who were not able to be treated with platinum-containing chemotherapy.
