Professor Aglaya Snetkov (UCL School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies) says while many supporters of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine display the letter Z because it’s "intimidating and very powerful," that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re using it as a fascist symbol.
