When HIV was passed through blood transfusions

Dr Edward Tuddenham (UCL Cancer Institute) recalls how doctors weighed the risks of transmitting pathogens through blood transfusions to haemophiliacs in the 1970s and ‘80s as the AIDS epidemic.
