Targeting the gut to relive rheumatoid arthritis

UCL researchers, including Professor Claudia Mauri (UCL Division of Medicine), have shown that damage to the lining of the gut plays an important role in the development of rheumatoid arthritis, paving the way for a new approach to treating the disease.
