Worm mothers ‘sacrifice themselves to provide milk for their young’

As some worm mothers age, they secrete a milk-like fluid that is consumed by their offspring and supports their growth, according to a study led by Professor David Gems and Dr Carina Kern (both UCL Institute of Healthy Ageing, UCL Biosciences).
