Eyesight study promising but needs further research

A study which improved a blind person’s eyesight is “high-quality” but further work will be needed to find out if the improvements are useful, says Professor James Bainbridge, while Professor Michel Michaelides (both UCL Ophthalmology) calls the research “a chink of light.”
