Does Lucretius’ science stand up?

Professor Jon Butterworth (UCL Physics & Astronomy) looks at the Roman poet and philosopher Lucretius’ theory of ‘atomism’, calling it “very prescient” but pointing out that he wasn’t right in thinking atoms were the smallest particles.
