Scotland should scrap outdated exams as UCL expert concludes pupils are “over examined”

Scotland is expected to come under pressure to change its “outdated” exam system following a study into Scottish schools by the OECD later this month. No other country examines pupils so much, says Professor Gordon Stobart (UCL Institute of Education).
