The importance of Russian protests after Navalny’s arrest

Protests have sprung up following the arrest of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, with Honorary Professor Mark Galeotti (UCL School of Slavonic & East European Studies) saying “tens of thousands,” would be considered a successful turnout.
