Britain’s entry into the EEC ‘created the conditions for Thatcherism to thrive’

While Thatcher is credited with changing Britain’s economic trajectory, research by Professor Nauro Campos (UCL Economics) suggests that the country’s entry into the EEC (now the EU) in 1973 was at least as important.
