Rocket scientists and brain surgeons aren’t smarter than everyone else

Researchers including Dr Inga Usher (UCL Cancer Institute) looked at the intelligence of rocket scientists and brain surgeons and compared them to the general public. They found that both had similar levels of intelligence.
