Nearly 25% of admissions of youngsters to psychiatric hospitals `involuntary´

Nearly a quarter of child and adolescent admissions to psychiatric hospitals are involuntary, and young black people are almost three times as likely as young white people to be admitted against their will, finds a study led by Dr Susan Walker (UCL Psychiatry).
