UK science funding agency must not become “destructive” to the research system, experts warn

In response to Dominic Cummings’ plan to create a UK science funding agency, Professor Mariana Mazzucato (UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose) says this could fill in the gaps in the UK’s research funding for science and technology, but would need planning.
