UCL-led space mission to uncover distant planets

The European Space Agency (ESA) has formally adopted Ariel, a mission led by Professor Giovanna Tinetti (UCL Physics & Astronomy) that is dedicated to studying the nature, formation and evolution of planets outside our solar system.
