“Substantial risks” if mixing allowed at Christmas

Allowing people to mix over Christmas would lead to increased Covid-19 risk, particularly for older people, and it would be “tragic” to throw away gains in suppressing the virus just as a vaccine is on the horizon, argues Professor Andrew Hayward (UCL Epidemiology & Health).
