Cloud break-up due to climate change “super-extreme worst-case scenario”

The break-up of subtropical clouds occurs when levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere exceed 1,700 parts per million, a level which will only occur in a worst-case scenario in which little is done to halt emissions, says Dr Pete Irvine (UCL Earth Sciences).
