Facemasks may not help stem Covid-19 tide

Professor Susan Michie (UCL Psychology & Language Sciences) and Professor Robert West (UCL Epidemiology & Health) warn that facemasks may not help protect against Covid-19 and that wearing them may lead people to adhere less strictly to social distancing behaviour.
