New glove translates sign language into real-time speech

Bioengineers have developed a glove that translates sign language into real-time speech. Commenting, Dr Gabrielle Hodge (UCL Psychology & Language Sciences) says the technology is redundant as deaf signers already use other methods to communicate with non-signers.
