Many housing estates “not meeting the basic requirements for civilised living”

New housing schemes across the country have serious design flaws and don’t meet the basic requirements “that we should expect in a country like our own,” finds a new report led by Professor Matthew Carmona (UCL Bartlett School of Planning).
