Earthquakes can trigger catastrophic tsunamis

A series of earthquakes recorded recently in Turkey, as well as Peru and Papua New Guinea, in the Ring of Fire, can cause “catastrophic tsunamis”, explains Professor Bill McGuire (UCL Earth Sciences).
