Google shifts UK user data from EU to US

As Google announces plans to relocate data relating to UK users from the EU to US to avoid legal risks after Brexit, Dr Michael Veale (UCL Laws), suggests Google is sceptical of the UK’s ability to retain its “adequacy” status with the EU which would allow free flow of data.
