Professor Hugh Montgomery (UCL Internal Medicine) comments in a piece looking at whether DNA tests can be an accurate predictor of being prone to injury. He explains that it is unlikely: “The predictive accuracy of such tests is close to zero for polygenic conditions”, he says.
