Mystery of how a protein folds into a unique three-dimensional shape ‘largely solved’

One of the fundamental questions of biology, how a protein sequence folds up into three dimensions, has largely been solved, a finding which could help with drug design and health problems including infections or inherited diseases, says Professor Andrew Martin (UCL Biosciences).
