Gene therapy injected in one eye can travel to the other eye

A study which has found gene therapy injected into the eye to cure a rare form of blindness seems to work, but can travel from one eye to the other, with Professor Michel Michaelides (UCL Ophthalmology) saying “I’m not sure this is good or bad news, but it’s fascinating news”.
