Scientists criticise controversial statins study

Professor Alun Hughes (UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Science) criticises a paper asserting that statins do not help lowering patients’ cholesterol or reduce the risk of strokes and heart attacks. He comments that the authors had produced a “flawed analysis of published data.”
