What happens if the Prime Minister loses his seat?

Whilst Prime Minister Boris Johnson is likely to retain his seat in the election, even if he lost he wouldn’t necessarily have to resign, explains Professor Robert Hazell (UCL Constitution Unit), citing the example of Alec Douglas-Home in the 1960s.
