Restoring farmland ponds could attract rare wildlife and vital insects and germinate seeds which have been buried for hundreds of years. The Big50 initiative aims to restore at least 50 farmland ponds and is led by Helen Greaves and Dr Carl Sayer (both UCL Geography).
