Planet found orbiting white dwarf star

A Neptune-like planet has been found orbiting a white dwarf star, a star which is nearing the end of its life. Dr Ingo Waldmann (UCL Physics & Astronomy) explains how white dwarf stars work and why this is a significant discovery.
