Tardigrades could survive 30 years on the Moon

Several thousand ‘moss piglets’, tiny invertebrates under 1mm long, were on an Israeli lunar probe which crashed into the Moon and could survive there for up to 30 years, according to Dr Francisco Diego Quintana (UCL Physics & Astronomy).
