‘Alien-hunting camera’ attached to ExoMars rover

The ‘Pan-Cam’ system, designed by engineers and scientists at UCL Mullard Space Science Laboratory, has been attached to the new Rosalind Franklin Mars Rover. Once it lands in 2021, the camera will scan the Martian landscape for suitable locations to drill for signs of life.
