Parents 'not wholly to blame for child weight gain'

A new study of non-identical twins suggests genetic disposition may be more significant than ‘irresponsible parenting’ in causing child obesity. Senior author Dr Clare Llewellyn (UCL Epidemiology & Health) said blaming parents about feeding “may be unfair”.
