Professor Ley Sander (UCL Institute of
Neurology) commented on new research where a chip is implanted into the brain
to prevent epileptic seizures, saying preventing seizures was the 'holy grail' of
epilepsy management, but that this promising finding might not deliver a
'one-size-fits-all' panacea.
